 FAQs

  • While I’m a big fan of the aesthetic of the stock bus windows - for heating, cooling, and al things thermal - I strongly recommend deleting as many (or all) of the stock windows you can. They leak (even if you prep them), and have zero insulation value. When off grid, every ounce of power counts!

  • While I’m certainly available for consultations on a regular basis, my “jump in the bus and drive to your place and build your rig for you” availability is under HIGH demand. Because of that I have to be selective. I tell people to do a consultation first and lets talk through it there!

  • #1 tip I give to everyone - there is no good deal on a rusty bus! So buy a bus with as little rust as possible, stay away from fiberglass rigs, and feel the character of the bus. You can tell the difference between a bus thats just dirty and needs help and a bus thats tired and even with work its still gonna be exhausted - pun intended.
